Monty’s Bio

Monty grew up in the beautiful wine country of the Alexander Valley. His family was one of the founding owners of the Chateau Souverain Winery. He now lives in Santa Rosa, with his wife, Terri, and their son, Joseph. His two daughters live in Colorado. Monty enjoys beach going, outdoor activities and traveling with his family, golf, theater and the symphony. He is active in many community and professional organizations, and is a past President of the Redwood Empire Estate Planning Council.

Monty Always Says it Like This:

“My role is not defined by giving you the hottest stock tip, convincing you to buy this year’s best performing mutual fund, or trying to sell you a product to solve a problem you don’t have. Instead, it’s about helping you clearly envision and define your long- term goals and providing the prudent, comprehensive advice you need to get there.”

Areas of Expertise:

Monty will guide you as you implement the investment strategies that help you meet your financial and life goals. He will help you address the following issues, and many more:

  • Clarify your personal financial goals and develop and implement customized strategies to achieve them. This will include your investments, debt, and standard of living. These are critical decisions, no matter how big or small your net worth might be. Are you making the right investment decisions? Is the risk too high? Is the return too low? Are you getting competent advice?
  • Address the retirement dilemma, so you’re assured a financially sound retirement—one that will last as long as you do. Integrate your investment and tax strategies. The goal is to minimize your taxes, so you don’t pay a dime more than you have to.
  • Control and simplicity. The more you can simplify and “bottom-line” your investments and personal finances, the more freedom you’ll enjoy. By delegating the burden of management, you will gain control and simplify your financial life.
